Statue of Clement Attlee Queen Mary, University of London, Mile End Road 1988 Forster, FrankFrank Forster Statue N/A Unveiled 30 November 1988 in its original location, outside Limehouse Library, by Harold Wilson, the last living member of Attlee's cabinet.[31] The figure holds a copy of the National Assistance Act 1948. In 2005 the work was badly vandalised and was boxed up to prevent further damage; it was removed to its current location in 2010.[32] Peter Mandelson gave the statue its second unveiling on 4 April 2011.[33]
