Leonard Geard (born 12 February 1934) is a retired English professional football wing half who appeared in the Football League for Brentford.
Club career
Fulham
A wing half, Geard began his career in the youth ranks at Fulham, but departed in March 1953 without making a first team appearance.[2]
Brentford
Geard transferred to Fulham's West London rivals Brentford in March 1953.[2] Due to having to undertake his National Service, Geard wasn't able to make his professional debut until 27 April 1955, in a 1–1 Division Three South draw with Crystal Palace.[3] He made a further three appearances during the 1955–56 season, before being released at the end of the campaign.[3]
Kettering Town
In 1956, Geard dropped into non-league football to sign for Southern League side Kettering Town.[2]
