Lawrence Gordon (doctor)
Lawrence Gordon, MD is a practicing Otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat) and the founder of ENT Specialty Care which is located in Goshen, NY. In addition to practicing Otolaryngology, Dr. Gordon is a medical software entrepreneur and the founder of WRS Health, a web-based Electronic Health Record and Practice Management System platform. He is the founder of Waiting Room Solutions, a CCHIT and ONC-ATCB certified[1] EHR and Practice Management System. Waiting Room Solutions was one of the first web-based systems available to help physicians run their medical offices.

Education and surgical career
Gordon received his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in biophysics where he graduated magna cum laude in 1985. He received his M.D. degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1989. He was trained in Head and Neck Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
He has obtained board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology. Affiliations include: American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and St. Anthony's Community Hospital.

Gordon was an early adopter of digital and electronic technologies.
