Larry Warren (Rendlesham)

For the Executive Director of UMHHC, see Larry Warren.

Larry Warren (Lawrence P. Warren or Lawrence Patrick Warren, Larry Patrick Warren or Larry P. Warren), who used the pseudonym Art Wallace, was a member of the US Air Force Security Police stationed at an American base on British soil. He is most famously known for his involvement in the Rendlesham Forest Incident and has published a book on this event co-authored with Peter Robbins.

He claims that he was taken from his guard post to investigate strange lights in a forest clearing near the base. Here he and other enlisted men and officers apparently confronted an alien craft on the ground.

He lives in Liverpool, England.[1]

Controversy

Although UFOlogist Nick Pope, among several others, endorses Warren's story contained in his book Left at East Gate,[2][3] some military personnel closely involved in the Rendlesham Forest incident have gone on record saying that they refuse to believe that Larry Warren was involved in it at all. His account differs significantly from that of Lt. Col Charles I. Halt, the most senior witness.
