Lackawanna Terminal

Lackawanna Terminal was the name of several of passenger terminals constructed by the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad (DL&W).

Hoboken, New Jersey

The Hoboken Terminal was constructed in 1907 in Hoboken, New Jersey. It is a major transportation hub in the New York Metropolitan area, and the only rail terminal still in use along the western bank of the Hudson River. It is served by nine New Jersey Transit (NJT) commuter rail lines, one Metro-North Railroad line, various NJT buses and private bus lines, the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail, the Port Authority Trans Hudson (PATH) rapid transit system and NY Waterway-operated ferries.

Montclair, New Jersey

Opened in 1913 in Montclair, New Jersey, this terminal was located at the terminus of the Montclair Branch of the DL&W. The terminal ceased rail operations in 1981 when the route was realigned with the opening of the Bay Street station. The terminal now serves as a shopping mall.

Scranton, Pennsylvania

The Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Station located in Scranton, Pennsylvania was built in 1908. It has been converted into a Radisson Hotel.

Buffalo, New York

Built in 1917, was partially demolished in 1979 and converted into a car barn, maintenance facility and administrative offices for NFTA Buffalo Metro Rail in 1982.
