Kita-Kashiwa Station (北柏駅 Kitakashiwa-eki) is a railway station operated by JR East's Jōban Line located in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture Japan. It is 29.2 kilometers from the terminus of the Jōban Line at Nippori Station.
History
Kita-Kashiwa Station was opened on April 10, 1971 as a freight station on the Japan National Railways (JNR). The station opened for passenger traffic on April 20, 1972. Scheduled freight services were discontinued from February 1, 1984. Kita-Kashiwa Station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the JNR on April 1, 1987.
