Keith Mason (born 20 January 1979) is an English born actor and former professional rugby league footballer, who played at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Melbourne Storm, St. Helens, Castleford Tigers, and Huddersfield Giants, as a Prop.[2]
Club career
Keith Mason was disciplined by The Giants for failing to return to training following the Challenge Cup Final in 2009. His current contract with The Giants expires in 2011, The Giants have been approached by St. Helens regarding his availability for the 2011 season.
At the end of the 2013 season, Mason retired from playing rugby league in order to pursue a career as an actor. He is set to star in the film Skin Traffik alongside Mickey Rourke and Daryl Hannah.[3]
International honours
Keith Mason won caps for Wales while at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in 2001 against England, and while at Melbourne Storm in 2002 against New Zealand on Sunday 3 November 2002.[4]
