Katie Sweet
Katie Sweet (born February 8, 1956, Covington, Kentucky) is a former American film and television actress.
She started acting when she was barely three years old. She was discovered on late night LA TV when host Tom Duggan called her up from the audience to chat. A talent producer who worked for Ozzie and Harriet was watching, and fell in love with her. Her first gig was in 1958 as one of, "The Runaways" in Ozzie and Harriet with Donald Losby.
Biography
Sweet was born Katherine Marie Sweet to Mary Jo and Bruce Sweet. Her first big break was in 1958 as one of "The Runaways" in Ozzie and Harriet. Soon after, she appeared in such films as The Crimson Kimono, All the Fine Young Cannibals, The Courtship of Eddie's Father and The Birds. She appeared on such television shows as The Danny Thomas Show, The Joey Bishop Show, My Favorite Martian, The Fugitive, The Lucy Show and Hank. She appeared in four episodes of Bonanza as Peggy Dayton, Adam Cartwright's love interest's daughter. In 1962, she landed the part of title character in the TV adaptation of Suzuki Beane. She stopped acting at age 13.
