Katherine Kamhi (born February 15, 1964) is an American actress, mostly known for her role as "Meg" in Sleepaway Camp.

Early life

When she was 11 years old, she performed as a ballet dancer at Metropolitan Opera House. She later did stage acting while at New York's Performing Arts High School, and graduated from Professional Children's School.

Film career

She landed her first role in All My Children in 1980 as "Pam Kingsley". She then starred in the cult horror film Sleepaway Camp (1983), as mean-spirited camp counselor "Meg".

She would star in many other TV shows, particularly in Guiding Light during the late 80s, in the role of Marcy Cambpell which she played for four years . She also guest started on General Hospital and the young and restless.

Later on, she would star in Ghost Whisperer (2008), Bones (2009), andLaw & Order: LA (2011). She 'filmed the feature Blood Relative,in 2011 and has guest starred in numerous television series since then including .<"touch" with Keifer Sutherland "castle" "parenthood" "and most recently "scorpion".

Personal life

She currently lives in Los Angeles, and has one son, and one daughter.
