Karim Raeisinia (Persian: کریم رئیسی‌نیا; born 1930 in Tehran)[1] was an Iranian deaf Wrestler and Deaflympics Gold-Medalist.[2][3] He has won 4 Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling deaflympics medals in 62–67 kg category of 1957 Milan and 1961 Helsinki,[2] however, he was unable to gain a medal again in 73–79 kg category of 1965 Washington DC games due to injury[3] and was ranked 4th in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman.[4][5] He was a friend of Abolhassan Ilchi Kabir[3] and Gholamreza Takhti.[2] Mansour Raeisi is also his cousin.[3]
