Kalki is a Tamil magazine published from Chennai, Tamil Nadu.[1] The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941.[2] The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels by Kalki such as Ponniyin Selvan and Sivagamiyin Sabadham.[3] Kalki Krishnamurthy also edited the magazine,[2] which is published on a weekly basis.[3] During his term the magazine was much more respected due to its quality.[2] Following his death it lost this and popularized.[2]
