Kaškar
- See namesake Kaskar (Chitral, Pakistan)
Kaškar was a city and once (arch?)bishopric in Arabia, and is now a Chaldean Catholic titular see.
Its location is Al-Wasit (which has namesakes elsewhere), in present Oman.
Titular see
The diocese, which had faded, was nominally restored in 1967 as a Chaldean Catholic titular archbishopric.
It is vacant, having had had a single incumbent, of the intermediate (archiepiscopal) rank :
- Titular Archbishop Emmanuel-Karim Delly (1967.05.06 – 2003.12.03) as Auxiliary Eparch of the Patriarch's proper Babylon of the Chaldeans (in Baghdad, Iraq) and next Bishop of Curia of the Patriarchate of the Chaldean Catholics (1997 – 2002.10.24) ([1962.12.07] 1962.12.26 – 1997); previously Titular Bishop of Palæopolis in Asia ([1962.12.07] 1962.12.26 – 1967.05.06); later Patriarch of Babylon of the Chaldeans (Iraq) ([2003.12.03] 2003.12.03 – 2012.12.19) as Emmanuel III Delly, President of Synod of the Chaldean Church (2003.12.03 – 2012.12.19), President of Assembly of the Catholic Bishops of Iraq (2003.12.03 – 2012.12.19), created Cardinal-Patriarch (with see still in Babylon, actually Baghdad, no titular church in Rome) (2007.11.24 – 2014.04.08)
