Joseph Greenspan (born September 12, 1992) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer.
Career
College
Greenspan spent his entire college career at the United States Naval Academy.[1]
Professional
On January 15, 2015, Greenspan was selected in the second round (26th overall) of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by Colorado Rapids.[2] He initially put his soccer career on hold due to military service obligations, but came to an agreement on June 5, 2015 with the Navy and Colorado Rapids, allowing him to fulfill his military requirements and play for the Rapids.[3]
Greenspan made his professional debut in a 4-1 win in the US Open Cup over Colorado Springs Switchbacks on June 16, 2015.[3]
