Joppolo Giancaxio (Sicilian: Jòppulu Giancaxiu) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Agrigento in the Italian region Sicily, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) south of Palermo and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) northwest of Agrigento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,240 and an area of 19.1 square kilometres (7.4 sq mi).[1]
