Jody Perpick
Jody Perpick is a Canadian tour manager and past live sound-engineer for top selling artist Bryan Adams.
In the song "Summer of '69", which has become one of Bryan Adams' most famous songs, the lyric "Jimmy quit, Jody got married" directly refers to Perpick.[1] "Jimmy" refers to drummer Jim Wesley, who worked for Adams in his club gigging days (1979-1983), who quit the band because he and Bryan did not get along.
Sound equipment
Jody Perpick’s equipment for Adams' set feature an array of BSS processing modules, such as three DPR 402 dual comp limiter/de-essers, offering six channels, and two DPR 404 quad de-essers (offering eight), along with two DPR-901 II.[2] Perpick is known to use an FPC-900 Varicurve Remote for Bryan and the band to walk longer distances during concert.
