James "Jimmy" Harney (born 1906) was an Irish hurler who played as a left corner-forward for the Tipperary senior team.
Harney was a regular member of the starting fifteen for just one season in 1930. It was a successful year as he won a set of All-Ireland and Munster winners' medals.[1][2]
At club level Hanrey enjoyed a lengthy career with Thurles Sarsfield's.
