This is a Korean name; the family name is Jang.

Jang Yun-jeong (Korean: 장윤정, born February 16, 1980) is a semi-trot singer. Debuting in 1999,[1] she exploded into fame at the beginning of 2005 with her single "Eomeona!" ("어머나!", an exclamation close in meaning to "Oh my goodness!"). Although in her 20s, she has decided to stick with a genre mainly appealing to older Koreans and has parlayed that into continued success, with five full albums (the latest one in June 2010) and two "half" albums. Because of her age and her popularity, she has been able to play in both the younger K-Pop shows and the older trot shows. She is currently one of the MCs on SBS's Challenge 1000 Songs.

Career

In April 2005, Jang debuted in Japan with the release of "Oh, My Goodness."[2]

On April 5, she became new MC of KBS program Escaping Danger Number One.[3] Her interview was spilled before the broadcast of Healing Camp, Aren't You Happy.[4]

In August 2014, Jang signed with agency KOEN Stars, home to MCs Lee Hwi-jae and Lee Kyung-kyu, after her former agency Inwoo Production closed down.[5][6]

Personal life

On June 29, 2013, she married news announcer Do Kyung-wan in Yeouido, Western Seoul.[7] Their baby boy was born on June 13, 2014 and was once one of the babies featured on the popular reality show The Return of Superman.[8][9]
