James Morrissey

James Morrissey is a public relations agent and long-term paid[1] spokesperson for the billionaire Denis O'Brien.[2][3][4][5]

He co-founded The Sunday Business Post and is a director of Newstalk and FleishmanHillard.[6]

His book Inishbofin and Inishark Connemara, featuring the collected photos and reports of other people, was launched at The Bailey in Duke Street, Dublin by close friend Taoiseach Enda Kenny.[6][7] Also present on the night was P. J. Mara.[8]

Morrissey received criticism from prominent politicians[9] for statements made regarding Dáil Éireann and Catherine Murphy TD stating "The Dáil is a bit of a talking club, they want their own rules for themselves"[10] and of Murphy that she was “dishonest in her conduct” and “peddling . . . illegally procured information which contains falsehood”[11]

From County Mayo, he tends to holiday in Connemara, owning a house in Cleggan.[6]
