James Rae Armstrong (1888 – 10 October 1915) was a Scottish professional footballer who played in the Scottish League for Kilmarnock and St Mirren.[2][3]
Personal life
Armstrong enlisted as a private in the 5th Battalion of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders after the outbreak of the First World War in August 1914.[2] He was killed in France on 10 October 1915 and buried in St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen.[1]
