Jakkepalli

Jakkepalli is a village in Kusumanchi mandal, Khammam district, Telangana, India. It is located 10 km from Kusumanchi, and near the border of Nalgonda district.

There is a Historical Shivalayam Temple on the outskirt of the village. All the devotees worship the god in this temple Koteshwara Swami. The people of this village and nearby villages people celebrate Shiva rathri by huge jathara for 5 days.

Famous people who were born in this village include Chandala Keshavadasu (1876–1956), the first lyricist in the history of the Telugu Film Industry.[1]
