J. S. Shorthouse

J. S. Shorthouse, DFC was born in Portsmouth, England on 11 April 1920. He joined the RNZAF in April 1939 and subsequently transferred to the RAF in January 1940 where he attained the rank of Wing Commander, he commanded No. 189 Squadron RAF[1] in the period 1944–45.

He transferred back to the RNZAF in July 1945.[2]
