The IIAC, short for Institut interdisciplinaire d'anthropologie du contemporain, is a French social science research centre institutionally linked to the EHESS and to the CNRS. It is composed of four main research units : the Edgar Morin Centre, the Laboratoire d'anthropologie et d'histoire de l'institution de la culture, the Laboratoire d'anthropologie des institutions et des organisations sociales, and Anthropologie de l'écriture.
