Career
Becker is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. After graduating from both the Conservatoire of Lille, Cours Florent in France and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the United Kingdom, Becker was awarded the Young Cannes Talent in 2010. From 2010 to 2011, he appeared in such films as L'Assaut, La Proie, and La Croisière. He would go on to appear in the French police drama series R.I.S, police scientifique and Julie Lescaut.
In 2010, Becker made his American television debut, portraying Prince Louis Grimaldi of Monaco in the fourth season of Gossip Girl, shooting two episodes in Paris. He later reprised his role, shooting twenty episodes overall, this time in New York.[1]
Becker starred opposite Greta Gerwig and Adam Brody in the Whit Stillman-directed 2011 comedy film Damsels in Distress. The film closed the 68th Venice International Film Festival and was selected at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. In 2012, he appeared in Drake Doremus' film Breathe In, co-starring alongside Guy Pearce and Felicity Jones. That same year, he appeared in two episodes of the English-language French television series Jo.
In 2014, Becker starred as Isaac Dreyfuss, a soccer superstar implicated in a terrorist case, in two episodes of the BBC One crime series Silent Witness.[2]
Becker has also starred in the six episodes of the France 2 thriller series Chefs.[3] He was awarded "Most Promising Actor" for his performance at the Luchon Film Festival.[4][5]
In 2015, Becker was announced as the lead in the twelve-episode Arte television comedy Au service de la France, in which he plays a spy.[6][7][8] Becker is currently starring in Bajo Sospecha, a Spanish crime drama television series produced by Bambú Producciones for Atresmedia. It airs on Atresmedia's main channel Antena 3. He will also serve as one of the leads in Republican Gangsters alongside Niels Arestrup, Kad Merad, and Anna Mouglalis, set to premiere in 2016. Becker is set to star in a feature film directed by Flavia Coste and in another film directed by Romain Quirot.
