Altensteig ( ) is a town in the district of Calw, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated in the eastern Black Forest, 18 km southwest of Calw, and 19 km northeast of Freudenstadt.
Subdivisions
There are 10 districts: Altensteig, Altensteigdorf, Berneck, Garrweiler, Hornberg, Spielberg, Überberg, Walddorf mit Monhardt and Wart.

Landmarks, sights and culture
Altensteig is well known for its picturesque medieval townscape and for the Christophorus-Kantorei Altensteig, an internationally renowned youth choir.[2]
