High-Logic,[1] founded in 1997 by Erwin Denissen,[2] is a privately held company headquartered in De Bilt, the Netherlands. High-Logic is renowned for continually updating its font editing and font management software.
The company's flagship product is FontCreator (formerly known as Font Creator Program) for Microsoft Windows. Version 6.0 is final FontCreator version that still runs on Windows 9x/Me. On December 2, 2005 High-Logic released MainType, a font-management program for Windows. On April 23, 2008 High-Logic released Scanahand, a font generator for Windows

About Erwin (from Linked In)[4] "Erwin Denissen started his career as an employee at ICT Automatisering, mainly working with Delphi. About two years later he switched to Bolesian were he made a move to Java software development. When Bolesian was eaten by it's big sister Capgemini in 2001, Erwin Denissen continued to work with Java. After several successful projects, and moving from software engineer to software designer to project leader, he decided to quit his job and fully focus on his own company High-Logic, he started back in 1997 as a graduate project.
As an independent software vendor, Erwin Denissen strives to continue developing new and innovative products for the world-wide typography market. Right now High-Logic has three products, a font editor, a font manager and a font generator. In March 2008 Erwin Denissen acquired MyTools.com, including 8 products. Fonts are created using multiple vector drawing aids from free-hand drawing of individual glyphs to importing graphics. Intuitively designed, a well-organized user manual is provided with the program and online to ensure user satisfaction.
FC Version 7.0 was released on 25th April 2013. It adds support for OpenType layout features, automatic hinting, optical metrics, and Web Open Font Format support (WOFF).
FC Version 7.5 was released on 5th August 2013. It is the first font editor to provide support for scalable colour font technology, which is available in Windows 8.1.
FC Version 8.0 was released on 5th June, 2014. It adds support for OpenType Glyph Positioning (GPOS), and Export using CFF (Postscript) outlines.
FC Version 9.0 was released on 9th June 2015. It adds a Visual Designer for all OpenType features and integrates GSUB and GPOS editing into a single dialogue.
FC Version 10.0 was released on 22nd June 2016. It added support for SVG, pre-scaling of bitmaps, improved tagging shortcuts, and some new Glyph Transformations.
On December 2, 2005 High-Logic released MainType, a font-management program for Windows, which has also been constantly updated and improved. Tools are provided for installing, uninstalling, loading (temporarily installing a font until your computer is turned off) and unloading fonts to the Windows Font Folder. In addition to providing a visual representation of each glyph and detailed information about each font AND rapid access to huge font collections, they can be easily arranged into user designed groups for seasonal or whatever categories a user can imagine. Even registry repair is included in the package.
On April 23, 2008 High-Logic released Scanahand, a font generator for Windows allows the user to print out a form, manually fill in the glyphs, scan it into the program and generate new fonts. As with the others, this program has been continually updated.
