Wild Fauna is a slacker rock band from Norway. Wild Fauna released their first and second EPs (as Hi Ho Mustachio) on independent record label, Furuberget.[1]

Formation and early work (2010-2016)

Wild Fauna originally formed as Falling While Asleep and recorded its first demo with then-future Spellemannprisen winners Simen Sandbæk Skari and Simen Schikulski[2] before Sandbæk Skari and Schikulski joined Norwegian pop band Team Me. While the band were together from 2010, Hi Ho Mustachio officially made their concert debut in 2012, with Anders Magnor Killerud and Unnveig Aas as members.[3] They went on to release 2 EPs as Hi Ho Mustachio as well as playing festivals such as Volumfestivalen[4] and Sommerfesten på Giske.[5]

Wild Fauna

Hi Ho Mustachio offically became Wild Fauna in August 2016[6] during the production of its debut album and released the single, Crooked Smile, under the new name in October of the same year. The single caught big plays on Spotify in Brazil.[7] Wild Fauna is currently in studio recording its debut album with Kenneth Ishak of Beezewax.[8]
