Harold Thomas "Harry" Springthorpe (28 April 1886 – 3 November 1915) was an English amateur football inside forward who played in the Football League for Grimsby Town.[1] He represented the England amateur national team.[3]

Personal life

Springthorpe served as a lance corporal in the Lincolnshire Yeomanry during the First World War and was killed at Gallipoli on 3 November 1915.[2] He is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.[2]
