Hank Cramer (born 1953) is an American folk singer. Lt. Colonel (ret.) Green Beret, the son of a Green Beret, Cramer started singing in college before enlisting in the Army in 1976. He continued performing throughout his service, and after retiring from active duty in 1990, began a full-time musical career. He re-enlisted after 9-11, was deployed to Afghanistan where an injury forced his retirement. Hank was the brigade executive officer for the 7th Brigade, 104th Division (TNG) from 1998-2001. [1]
In 2006 Cramer restarted the annual Pine Stump Symphony in the Methow Valley of Washington, an annual event until founder Ron McLean's death in 1982. [2]
