Haemophilus haemolyticus is a species of gram-negative bacteria that is related to Haemophilus influenzae. H. haemolyticus is nonpathogenic, in contrast to the pathogenic H. influenzae.
There is active research on H. haemolyticus especially in taxonomy and in identification, e.g.[1]
