The Gush Etzion mayoral election, 2012 for the office of Mayor of Gush Etzion Regional Council in Israel was held on 14 February 2012.
Background
Mayor Shaul Goldstein resigned his position before his term was up to head the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, causing an early election to be held 18 months before the term ends.[1]
Perl campaigned on a platform of change.[1]
Candidates
- Davidi Perl, director of Netiv Meir Yeshiva and former chairman of Alon Shvut[2]
- Yair Wolf, deputy mayor of Gush Etzion[2]

In his victory speech, Perl thanked "the residents of Gush Etzion for their trust and support" and pledged "to be the head of all the residents of Gush Etzion regardless of their political opinion." The National Union congratulated him on his victory.[2]
