Gurukul Vidyapeeth Institute of Engineering & Technology (GVIET) was founded in 2001 by Swami Vivekananda Educational Trust in Chandigarh. All the courses of the institute are approved by All India Council for Technical Education^[1] and are affiliated with Maharaja Ranjit Singh State Technical University, Bhatinda.^[2]GVIET, formerly known as Gurukul Vidyapeeth Institute of Emerging Technology (Hindi: गुरुकुल विद्यापीठ कॉलेज), or GVIET, is an engineering institute located 25 km away from the city of Chandigarh, India.
