Grant MacEwan Bridge
Grant MacEwan Bridge is a 10 lane bridge over the Athabasca River in Fort McMurray, Alberta part of Highway 63. It was opened in 2013, 7 months ahead of schedule. [1] It is the only paved road bridge over the Athabasca River in the Fort McMurray area. It served as a critical resource when the evacuations from the Fort McMurray wildfire. No damage occurred from the wildfire.[2]
