Gavazzana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Turin and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 129 and an area of 3.1 square kilometres (1.2 sq mi).[1]
Gavazzana borders the following municipalities: Cassano Spinola, Sant'Agata Fossili, and Sardigliano.
