Founded in 1990 by the late William R. Grant, Galen has raised nearly $1 billion through five funds and has invested in more than 70 companies since inception.[3] In 2006, the company relocated its headquarters from New York City’s Rockefeller Center to Stamford, Connecticut.[4]
