Fusinus ansatus, common name the closter spindle, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Fasciolariidae, the spindle snails, the tulip snails and their allies.[1]

Description

The size of the shell varies between 100 mm and 230 mm.

Distribution

This species occurs in the Caribbean Sea and on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
