Fraser P. Seitel (born June 6, 1946) is an American publicist and author.[1]
Seitel is president of Emerald Partners, a public relations firm that he and associates founded in 1992.[2] He is the author of the textbook The Practice of Public Relations,[3] the 1992 book IdeaWise: How to Transform Your Ideas, which he co-authored with Steve Rivkin, and Rethinking Reputation in 2012, co-authored with John Doorley.[4]
Seitel was senior counselor at Burson-Marsteller, and senior vice president and director of public affairs at the Chase Manhattan Bank in the 1980s.[5] He also has been a spokesman for the Rockefeller family.[6][7]
Seitel is also an adjunct professor at New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies' graduate program in Public Relations and Corporate Communication.[8]
He has written opinion pieces for the Fox News website,[9][10][11][12] Fortune Magazine [13][14][15] and appeared on Larry King Live,[16] MSNBC, Glenn Beck, Fox Business Network, the Fox Radio Network and National Public Radio.[17][18]
