Faristenia furtumella is a moth in the Gelechiidae family.[1] It is found in the Russian Far East, Korea and Japan (Honshu).[2]

The wingspan is 14-18 mm. The forewings are paler than those of related species, the costal patch is trapezoidal and there are irregular short dark fuscous streaks. The hindwings are grey.[3]

The larvae feed on Quercus mongolica.
