Evolve USA is an organization which advocates for gun safety. In contrast to other groups involved in gun politics in the United States, Evolve focuses on individual, voluntary actions, to prevent accidental shootings.^[2]^[3] It was founded in 2013, after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.^[4]

While Evolve USA claims neutrality in political issues and that they "let Congress deal with lawmaking",^[3] their statement of purpose singles out "left-leaning senator[s]" when it refers to the importance of gun safety.^[5]
