Evan Patrick Marshall (born April 18, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Career
Marshall graduated from Homestead High School in Cupertino, CA in 2008.[1] Marshall was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fourth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of Kansas State University.[2] He was called up to the majors for the first time on May 5, 2014.[3] While pitching for the minor league Reno Aces on August 7, 2015, he was hit in the head by a batted ball. He had a skull fracture and needed neurosurgical treatment to relieve the raised intra-cranial pressure.[4]
