Emily Winter

Emily Winter is an English actress who has starred in many plays, mostly in Scotland.

Performances

On the stage Winter has starred in Cinderella, Pygmalion, Sleeping Beauty, Pericles, The Promise, The Rover and A Doll's House amongst others. She is currently a member of the Dundee Rep ensemble with whom she has performed in stage versions of The Graduate, Peter Pan, The Seagull, The Winter's Tale and Cabaret. Winter has also appeared in several television shows, including The Camera Never Lies, Strathblair, The Return and the Word, and The High Life as well as the film Close.

She appeared in the lead role in Flora the Red Menace. In 2003 a review in The Guardian described her performance as: "stunning: barely off the stage, she drives the production forward with unaffected energy, her acting matching the range of her singing, from the vigorous paean to individualism I Am Me to the heart-break of It's a Quiet Thing." and gave the production their highest rating.[1]
