Disturbing the Peace (sometimes called "DTP") was a nu metal band, based in St. Louis, Missouri. The band released their first album, Planet Nine in the spring of 1998 and their second, titled The New Ice Age, in 2001. The band eventually went on to become the post-hardcore band Adair. On December 27, 2008, the original lineup of Rob Tweedie, Josiah Werner, Mike Jost, Steve Hafner, and Greg Haupt played a reunion show at the House of Rock in St. Louis.
