Dhareru is a village in Bhiwani Tehsil in the Bhiwani district of the Indian state of Haryana. Part of the Hisar division, it is located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) east of the district headquarters of Bhiwani. It lies 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from Bhiwani and 266 kilometres (165 mi) from the state capital, Chandigarh.[1] Its primary post office is Manheru.

As of 2011 India census, Dhareru has a population of 5,491 and 942 households. Males (2,956) constitute 53.83% of the population and females (2,535) 46.16%. Dhareru has an average literacy (3,480) rate of 63.37%, which is lower than the national average of 74%; male literacy (2,113) is 60.71%, and female literacy (1,367) is 39.28% of total literates. In Dhareru, 13.71% of the population is under 6 years of age (753).[2]
