Dash n Splash

Dash N Splash was a water theme park located in Chennai, India. It has been operational since 1995 and is also the first exclusive water park in Chennai and South India. The idea of opening the water park was get rid of heat, sweat & dust of the city. The motto of the water park is Refresh Yourself. Tamil Actor Suriya opened this theme park. The park is fully shaded with coconut trees providing full refreshment and relaxation. Dash N Splash has a number of water reservoirs and slides for adults, kids & senior citizens.[1] The park is now permanently closed.

About

Dash N Splash covers much of the Mevallur Kuppam village. It offers numerous water activities, water slides being the favorite amongst visitors. A few other attractions Dash N Splash offers are the wave slide, free-fall slide and spiral slide. This water park also has swimming pools, an artificial rainfall shower and a water fall for all ages.[1]

Location

It is located near Poonamallee on Chennai- Bangalore National Highway (NH4) 30 kilometers (19 mi) from Chennai. It is located on 21 acres (8.5 ha) on the banks of the Telugu Ganga project canal in Melvarkuppam Village close to Saveetha Engg College.

Timings

10.00 A.M. to Sunset Working Days: 365 Days[2] The park offers slide ride, spiral ride, free fall, wave slide and many other rides.[3]
