Dance Dance Revolution Konamix, also known as DDR Konamix or simply Konamix for short, is a music video game in the Dance Dance Revolution series of games by Konami. It was released on April 25, 2002 for the Sony PlayStation in the United States and Canada as the third DDR console game in those countries and the last game for the system. DDR Konamix contains 52 tracks and six courses consisting entirely of "Konami Originals" produced by Konami's in-house music staff.

Gameplay

Music

All of the songs featured in Dance Dance Revolution Konamix are from previous releases in the series with the exception of "AM-3P (303 Bass Mix)", a remixed of the classic original from Dance Dance Revolution 2ndMix. Some songs have been re-recorded and renamed to remove content that could be perceived as explicit or racist. For example, the English lyrics removed from "After the Game" (Changed from "After the Game of Love") discussed sexual intercourse.[2]

Songs are organized into groups of genres, one of which must be chosen to play the songs within. Some songs are part of multiple groups. An option to switch off the genres allows access to all the songs in the game at the same time, but in a format similar to the previous release.
