Athletics

School sports include basketball, baseball, bowling, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball and wrestling.

Academics

The school has literary and academic teams. The Academic Decathlon team has won 21 of the last 25 Floyd County championships.

The Eagles have won the Governor's Cup for the most improved SAT scores in the state and region. Coosa was named a Georgia School of Excellence.
