Founding
Comboni College Khartoum was originally founded in 1930 by the Italian Verona Fathers. The boys school had an international intake, but was primarily for Sudanese children.[1] The followers of Comboni founded a Religious Institute made up of Priests and consecrated Brothers who arrived in Sudan to continue Comboni´s work whom education became their main commitment in the country. In 1929 they founded a school called Comboni College Khartoum (CCK). In 1999, some parents of the primary section of Comboni College Khartoum asked the Comboni Priests and Brothers to develop a post-secondary section. That initiative then gave place in 2001 to Comboni College of Science and Technology (CCST) as a separate institution from the Primary and the Secondary sections of Comboni College Khartoum.
