Cole Wick (born November 30, 1993) is an American football tight end for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of the Incarnate Word.[1] Wick is from Hallettsville, Texas.[2] He played high school football at Sacred Heart Catholic High.[3]
Wick went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft.[4] He had free agent offers from the Carolina Panthers and Oakland Raiders before signing with the Lions.[5] Along with Myke Tavarres, who signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cole Wick was the first Incarnate Word football player to make an NFL roster. His rookie season came to an early end after suffering a knee injury and was placed on injured reserve on November 1, 2016.[6]
