Charles Ruggles Boardman

Charles Ruggles Boardman was an Adjutant General of Wisconsin.

Biography

Boardman was born in Empire, Wisconsin in 1860.[1] He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and began working as a journalist at the Oshkosh Northwestern, where he eventually became Vice President. Boardman died in 1950.

Military career

Boardman was Adjutant General of Wisconsin from 1897 to 1913. During World War I, he served overseas with the rank of Brigadier General with the Wisconsin Army National Guard.
