Chad Michael Kuhl (born September 10, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB).

High school and college

Kuhl attended Middletown High School in Middletown, Delaware, where he pitched and played first base for the school's baseball team.[1] He was named to the All-Delaware team in 2010.[2] He then enrolled at University of Delaware, where he continued his baseball career.

Career

Kuhl played college baseball at the University of Delaware.[3] He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the ninth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.[4] He made his professional debut with the Jamestown Jammers. Kuhl pitched 2014 with the Bradenton Marauders, and 2015 with the Altoona Curve.[5]

Kuhl made his major league debut, and got his first win on June 26, 2016, as the Pirates defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, 4–3. Kuhl pitched five innings, allowing three runs, four hits, and four walks with five strikeouts in his debut. [6]
