Centre of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences
Centre of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS)[1] was established in year 2002 with the support of University Grants Commission (India) as a Centre of Excellence. CBCS is an independent centre of University of Allahabad. The broad goals of the Centre are to promote teaching and research in Cognitive Science. Academic programs at CBCS include the first Master program in Cognitive Science and a Doctoral program in Cognitive Science.
Research Areas
The Centre has multiple labs: Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, Neuroinformatics and Intelligent Computing Lab, Visual Cognition Lab, Language and cognition lab, Bio-feedback lab, Virtual Reality lab, Actions lab, and Neuropsychology Lab.
